West Virginia Association of School Nurses, Inc. is a specialty nursing organization devoted exclusively to meeting the needs of school nurses and the children that school nurses serve. WVASN has a membership of over 200 school nurses and friends of school nurses.
Message From the President
Dear West Virginia School Nurses,
As we shift our focus into the next calendar year, I am encouraged by the momentum that has taken place within the profession of school nursing in West Virginia. The past 2 years have been marked by noteworthy achievement and positive change. Stand up and claim recognition as a valued, trusted resource for health care in your school communities! I believe that we have many reasons to have enormous pride in our accomplishments and look forward with enthusiasm to the year ahead.
Together we are strong. The 2023 WV legislative session is weeks away. ALL WV School Nurses are encourage to stay connected with respective delegates and senators to ensure they understand the impact school nurses have on their communities. Additionally, WVASN members are encouraged to reach out to nurses who may not be members at this time to ensure they are getting the support and information they deserve in a timely manner.
As your President, I am committed to ensuring WVASN offers high quality events and services. Stay connected to WVASN through emails and our Facebook page for updates throughout the year. Thank you for everything
